Product Rave! Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel

Both Ulta and Sephora recently had 20% off sales, so I had the opportunity to get things that I had been eyeing for awhile. Because I am constantly buying beauty products, my selection of samples is quite large, and every now and then I decide to try a new one. Such is the case with the Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel sample I received with a Sephora purchase. After using this twice, I decided it was something that I wanted to purchase in the full size and use regularly.

Using this peel is like using a mask. You apply, wait up to ten minutes, and then wash it off. The product looks white in the tube but applies clear, and it has a bit of a citrus smell. Upon application, I feel a slight tingle but nothing too intense or irritating. I have used this for the full 10 minutes every time and have not had any irritation. If you have extremely sensitive skin, then I recommend leaving this on for a much shorter period of time. Of course, always wash it off immediately if you feel any irritation.

When I use the Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel I notice that my skin instantly looks brightened and refreshed. My skin looks invigorated like I've just had a good workout. The product does claim to reduce hyperpigmentation, but it will be a gradual process. My post acne marks are still there, but this product will help over time.

What makes the Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel effective is the chemical exfoliant, glycolic acid, and vitamin C. For more information on the importance of chemical exfoliants and vitamin C for your skin, I refer you to a dermatologist, Dr. Neal Schultz.

How do you exfoliate your skin? Do you like chemical of physical exfoliants? Let me know in the comments if there's a product I should try!
