November favorites

I love reading monthly favorites posts, so I thought it was time to start doing them! It has been such a busy month, so many of these products are going to be what I have used on the go and during my travels. These are products I have been using consistently and liking throughout the month of November.

Because it has been so cold, I have been using oils to moisturize at night. I have been using Aura Cacia Rosehip Oil with Vitamin E all over my face and Sibu sea buckthorn seed oil on blemishes. Rosehip oil is very gentle and absorbs quickly, so people with sensitive or oily skin can use this without worrying. Sea buckthorn seed oil is a healing oil and is great for any kind of skin condition. I use this on blemishes or on places that start to peel because of the elements.

My nails are prone to peeling, so Nail Envy from OPI has saved my nails. I was able to grow them out a bit during the month of November. They became uncomfortably long, and I had to clip them! I use this a bit differently from the directions and use it in place of a base coat with every new manicure. I paint my nails often, so it works for me.

Every time I wore liquid foundation I mixed in Dr. Jart+ Black Label Detox Beauty Balm. This product is great on its own, but I really like the color and finish that it gives mixed in with my long wearing foundations.
MAC Well Dressed Blush, Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder 01, Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Blush Natural
Guerlain bronzer
Top to Bottom: PP Sexy Booster Blush in Natural, MAC Well Dressed, Guerlain Bronzer
I have two blush favorites for the month of November. Both of these are quick and easy to apply and blend. I took MAC Well Dressed blush with me when I was doing a bit of traveling because it is a light blush that is easy to build up and looks good on my fair skin in any kind of lighting situation.  The Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush in Natural is an easy to wear shimmery peachy pink blush. This blush works with a warm or cool look and blends out nicely. It's so quick and easy to apply. I had to do my makeup on the go frequently, so this got a lot of wear.

The Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder in shade 01 has been my favorite because it is my lightest bronzer. My skin is lighter, and I'm not wanting an overly bronzed look right now. This is a great shade for fair skin, and it blends easily. Guerlain does amazing bronzers in a wide range of shades. If you can only purchase one thing from Guerlain, I recommend one of their bronzers.

My final favorite from the month of November is the Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Provocateur (the red color above).  As you can probably tell from my previous posts, I am all about a red lip right now. Provocateur is the perfect shade and formula for a red lip on the go. It is easy to apply, and I don't have to use a lip liner with it. This lipstick went everywhere with me this past month.

Those were my favorites for November! I am on the hunt for a new favorite undereye concealer and a new favorite hand cream. I've been trying some new ones for both of these categories, but I haven't found a favorite yet. Please let me know if you have any recommendations!

  1. I still can't find lacquer balms :( Happy with my matte balm in Shameless though!). I want the Provocateur. Still trying to find. I have a fave hand cream on my post. No makeup as I've been feeling like pooh this month. Next month will have makeup/concealers as it should be. Crappy beauty month for me as I've been sick :(

    1. The lacquer balms are permanent, so you should find them eventually. They showed up at my local Target, but most of the colors were gone. I have not used that hand cream, but it's on my list. I hope you feel better for the rest of December!
