Clinique Cheek Pop ~ Pink Pop

This post continues as what may seem as the never ending Clinique haul, but this is my last Clinique product -- at least for now. The Clinique Cheek Pops were the number one item on my list to try when I visited my Clinique counter. I decided to give Pink Pop a try.

Ingredients

We can all agree that when it comes to the cute factor, this blush has it. The clear compact makes it easy to see the color and pick out of your collection, assuming you are a makeup hoarder like myself. The adorable flower design on the product stays visible well after the first use. You have to make a considerable dent into this blush before it will completely go away.

The color is blendable, buildable, and easy to work with. I haven't had any issues with patchy application or fading throughout the day. The color manages to be bright and vibrant without being too loud.

My only gripe at all comes when you take a closer look at how much product you actually get. Yes, this is a small package, and most of the time that doesn't necessarily mean that you're getting less product. In this case it does -- by almost half. The Clinique Cheek Pops are $22 and contain .12 oz/3.5 g of product. That's the same price as a MAC blush, but a MAC blush contains .21 oz/6 g of product. The Bare Minerals Ready blushes ($23) contain the same .21 oz/6 g of product. I tell you all of this not to discourage you from getting one of the lovely Cheek Pops but just to make you aware. If you're a makeup junkie like me, then you won't notice at all that you're getting almost 50% less product. If you're not a makeup junkie, then you might want to reconsider and get another blush that will last a little longer. I looked but could not find the amount of product in the Clinique Soft-Pressed Powder Blushers. If you have one, will you let me know? I'd love to hear you weigh in on this! Do you care about the amount of product you get in a powder blush?

Overall, I do like my Clinique Cheek Pop in Pink Pop. It's so darn cute, and just makes me happy when I look at it. I'm not sure if I'll get any more.

Have you tried any of the Clinique Cheek Pops? What colors do you have?
