Daiso Dash! Shopping at Daiso

A Daiso opened in the DFW area a few weeks ago -- in Carrollton for those of you that know the area. What is Daiso, you ask? Putting it simply, it's a Japanese dollar store. I would say it's similar to Dollar Tree. Let me show you everything I got!

Being the beauty addict that I am, I went straight to the beauty section. The store is still really new, so it was crazy in there. It probably wasn't the best idea to go on a Saturday afternoon, but it really was something of a dash!

I got every package of cotton they had -- Fresh Cotton, Patting Cotton, and Cotton for Nail Polish Remover. I'll let you know if there's anything remarkable about any of these cottons. I'm curious to see how the Cotton for Nail Polish Remover works out.

This face brush was just too cute to pass up. It even has it's own hook, so you can hang it in the shower. Cute!

I was not leaving this store without a mascara. I have no idea if the Daiso house brand is any good or not, but Asian cosmetic brands have some fantastic mascaras. The natural lash mascara appears to have a standard mascara wand, and the other has a "double faced & rubber brush." It looks like that means it has two comb-like sides. One side looks like it would be great for lower lashes.

Another item I went in looking to buy -- sheet masks! I've never tried a sheet mask, so it only makes sense that I get four of them.

I have no idea what an Oxygen Bubble Mask is, so I had to try these. I think they're just typical masks, but they sound delicious.

We have reached the odd portion of what I got. My husband found this Point Pressing Stick. I've been wanting to get something like this to work out tight muscles.

I was really impressed with the dishes and kitchen items in Daiso. Everything looked so nice given the price point. This mug with a lid just had to come home with me!

I also picked up a snack! The Cookies & Cream Pocky was good! The husband and I shared this package, and we both liked it.

Even though it was crowded, I really enjoyed this new store. Every item was $1.50, except for the Pocky ($1.75). I haven't tried out any of the beauty items yet, so let me know if there's anything you want me to try first. If you have a Daiso in your area, you should go! They have a lot of cute and practical items there. I know I'll be heading back!

Have you ever been to a Daiso?

Let's be friends!
