I have had my eye on Glossybox for quite some time now, and I even purchased the Bergdorf Goodman Glossybox last year. Since I've been looking at this for so long, I decided that I wanted a subscription for my birthday.

If you don't know what Glossybox is, it's a monthly beauty subscription service that delivers five deluxe and often full size beauty products to you. The cost is $21 a month, but you can buy a 6 or 12 month subscription and pay up front. The 12 month subscription comes at a bit of a discount. I wanted to try Glossybox because it seems that they include high quality brands that either I haven't heard of or are more higher end. I just wanted a box that didn't include products that I can go around the corner and buy. If you decide to subscribe to Glossybox, you get points for referring people and for taking surveys on the products included in the box. The points go toward a free box! Here's my referral link for anyone interested.

Let's get into the products in this box!

Julep Luxe Lip Conditioning Treatment in Sheer Coral ($24/.42 oz - full size in box)- I'll admit I was a bit disappointed when I first saw this in my box, but the more I use it the more I like it. The color is way too sheer to show up on even me, and I'm super pale! It is a fantasic lip treatment, though. I put this on before I do my makeup to hydrate my lips. It feels like a lip balm with a bit of oil. This would be great at night too.

Coffea Coffee Scrub ($16/7 oz - 3.5 oz sample) - I haven't tried this sample yet, but I'm excited to try a coffee scrub. I'm a huge fan of coffee, so this is a great product for me to try. This bag is resealable, but it looks like it's still going to be a bit messy. This is a large size sample.

Biossanse The Revitalizer ($58/1.7 oz - .05 oz sample) - I haven't used this yet, but I'm intrigued by the product. The only ingredient is squalane. I think it's marketed to be used on your face, but it says you can also use it on your hair or any dry patches on your body. I may try this on my hands. This sample comes with in a nice glass bottle with a dropper.

Emite Make Up Artist Colour Powder Blush - 108 ($22/.35 oz - full size) - I have never heard of this brand before, so I'm happy to try something new. This color is described as a warm, peach-toned blush, and I agree. On me, this looks like a nude blush with maybe a hint of peach. You have to use a light hand with this, so make sure you tap off your brush. It can be a bit difficult to blend if you start off with too much product. This blush is pigmented!

Nails Inc Nail Polish - Uptown ($14/.47 oz - .33 oz sample) - This dusty pink color is so nice. This has turned out to be my favorite product in the box. The color is very wearable and the formula is long lasting. The sample is almost full size.

Each box comes with a card describing each product and how much it retails for at full size. It also includes tips and additional information to help you use each product. This box also came with a coupon for BaubleBar, but it expired rather quickly. This wasn't at the fault of Glossybox; I was out of town the week that the box arrived. Overall, I'm really impressed with this box. I received great brands that I had heard of and some that are completely new to me. The full size products made this box a great value.

What are your thoughts on subscription boxes? Do you have any subscriptions?
