Glossybox | June and July

Hi everyone! I am back from my trip! I had a great time exploring NYC, and I actually had some time to relax too. It was the best of both worlds!  Now, I'm trying to easy myself back into blogging. I can't promise that I'll be any better about posting regularly, though. Posting might still be a little slow for now, but I don't plan on going anywhere.

I have my June and July Glossyboxes today! I got the June box at the end of the month and never posted about it. I wasn't going to because it's so late, but I don't think it hurts to lump it in with the July box. It had a Tony Awards theme, which I absolutely love!

Sebastian Professional Shaper Fierce Hairspray and sample vial of the Dark Oil - This is a good size hairspray for travel. I don't use hairspray all that often, but I do use it when I curl my hair. This does a good job of holding a curl. I'm glad that included a Dark Oil sample. Maybe this hair oil won't weigh down my hair.

Caolion Premium Hot & Cool Pore Pack Duo - I haven't seen this before, but evidently it's available at Sephora! This is a two part mask. Begin with the Blackhead Steam Pore Pack to clarify and follow with the Premium Pore Original Pack. I haven't tried this yet, but I love purifying and pore tightening masks. This may have to have it's own blog post!

SinfulColors Kylie Jenner Denim & Bling Collection - After Dark - It was surprising to see this color in the June box because it isn't a summery color at all. After Dark is a dark metallic gray. It's a shade that I would wear, but I don't see myself reaching for it until the fall.

2 coats

LA Splash Lip Lacquer High Pigment Collection - Sugar Rush - This product was created exclusively for Glossybox. I haven't tried anything from LA Splash in a long time. This lip lacquer is extremely pigmented and has good lasting power. Again, this brick red color isn't a color I would expect in a summer box. It is a flattering shade, and I'll reach for it more later on in the year.

Icona Milano Emotion Allowed Mascara - This is a waterproof mascara, and I don't like to wear those. I will be passing this along to someone else.

TanTowel Half Body Classic - I like self tanner, but we all know that it is something you have to devote time and energy to maintaining. Having it in a towelette form does seem easier. I think I'll try this soon.

The June box is pretty good. There's only one item that I know I won't use. The color items were confusing in the shade choices, but I will use them eventually. Now, on to the July box!

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua - I got this very same item in my March Glossybox, so I have no idea why it's in the July box. It's a pretty color, but I don't want two of them. I'm passing this along to a friend.

Eyeko Fat Stick in Satin - This is a cream eyeshadow in stick form. I love this type of product, and I appreciate that they sent a wearable taupe shade.

Fango Essenziali Moisturize Treatment Sheet Mask - It's for parched, dry skin, and I used it this morning. I have combination skin, but it was feeling quite dry from my nightly retinol serum. It provided hydration without feeling too heavy or oily. I liked this sheet mask.

Leighton Denny Expert Nails Miracle Mist - This is a speed drying spray for nail polish. I love to do my nails, but I'm not crazy about waiting on my nail polish to dry. I will get a lot of use out of this!

Nuxe Shimmering Huile Prodigieuse - I love Nuxe products, and not only is this a full size, it's the big size! This product has 6 botanical oils, vitamin E, and some shimmer. It's a multi-purpose oil that can be used on face, body, or hair. I sprayed some in my hair, but I think I used too much. It weighed my hair down a bit. I would use this on my body, especially my shoulders and legs, but I don't think I would use this on my face. Maybe if I had dry skin. The large size that came in the box retails for $54, so I was amazed to see it in here!

Glov Quick Treat - At first, I thought this was going to be one of those makeup removing cloths. In a way, it is, but it fits over your finger. I have some other makeup removing cloths, but they don't fit over your hand. It's an interesting concept. I would have liked the full size one that fits over your entire hand, though. I don't think a finger-size cloth is going to remove much.

Aside from getting the same product that was sent in an earlier box, the July box was really good! The Nuxe oil and the Eyeko eye stick were my favorites. What do you think?
